Cough Cough "I've got the black lung".

I would have blogged yesterday, but I was exhausted upon arriving home from work. My day started at 4:30 a.m. as to be ready in time to leave for West Virginia by 5:30 a.m. I had to meet up with a co-worker at 6:30 a.m. to then drive to PA, to a town just east of Indiana. (or as my darling wife would say "Jimmy Town") We were headed to a power plant to survey the sprinkler pipe that was installed. Since the plant uses coal for the power source it is quite dirty and dusty. Most of our work was outside which was somewhat cleaner, but dust was raining down upon us the whole time. After cleaning up a bit in the men's room we headed for home. When all was said and done it was about 6:30 p.m. when I got home and took a shower right away to rid myself of the rest of the blackness.

So that, ladies and gentlemen, is how I got the black lung. I hope this will keep people from accusing me of not blogging. How absurd. There is not much else to say at this point so, I'm off to watch some hockey before Supernatural comes on. Since the Penguins aren't in the playoffs I'm going to root for the Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens & the Philadelphia Flyers.

We didn't start the fire....

We may not have started the fire, but one day I'll design how to put it out. I enjoy my work so much more than before mostly because of how the business is run. I know it's early, but I can see myself being there for quite a long time. Just one more thing to add about my employment, 10 people in the office not including installers.

Now on another note, Skyeye has to be the greatest invention to come to the mahoning valley. Seriously, I've always wanted a live view of 680, 224 and any of the other locations they have. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of the day that a camera would be mounted high above the great city called Youngstown. I've learned so much about the weather from these cameras, like rain spots on the lens, snow spots on the lens, clouds and sun. I don't ever have to look outside to know what the weather is like. THANK YOU SKYEYE, YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER!

"This live view from Skyeye is brought to you by hard boiled eggs".
